Celestial tourism is now becoming a dream come true. Richard Branson and his team took a historic flight from Spaceport America. Billionaire Branson had established the company Virgin Galactic years ago. In 2014, the first experimental flight failed because of damage. One pilot died and another one got severe injuries. However, with constant experimentation, the company completed successful space missions from 2018 onwards. Richard had always dreamed of traveling to space.

“I have dreamt about this moment since I was a child,” Branson tweeted. “But going to space was more magical than I ever imagined.”

More than 600 people have already signed up for the space tour. However, commercial tourism will be launching in 2022 after some more experiments and improvements.

Branson and his crew experienced about four minutes of weightlessness before their space plane smoothly glided to a runway landing.

“It was just magical,” Branson said. “It’s 17 years of painstaking work, the occasional horrible down – and large ups with it. And today was definitely the biggest up.”
