With this, your conversion rates are also likely to increase and naturally, this means more sales and potentially higher rankings as well.

Create Links To Your Facebook Business

When Google and Bing both announced that Facebook and Twitter both influence SEO, it sent positive waves through the SEO community. Many SEO consultants now recommend creating links from your Facebook page to your website and to other relevant sites as well.

Similarly, the more ‘fans’ you get on your page, the more links you’ll also have from other user pages to your Facebook page, too. Using the ‘Find us on Facebook’ link is also a powerful way of creating backlinks to your page – attach this button to all content that you promote, both on your website and elsewhere on the web.

Now, they’re also being used to give away discounts, coupons and freebies and businesses are prompting users to ‘like’ a page on Facebook in order to receive these deals.

Create Engaging Business Pages & Content

While there might be a limit to how much text and content you can please in various areas of your Facebook Business Page, it doesn’t mean that your content has to be low quality. Creating a strong relevant landing page – and keeping this up to date – for your users gives them a better ‘Facebook’ experience. Of course, more content and happier users = better rankings as well. You can create unique landing pages using Facebook’s own HTML code (known as ‘FBML’) and with this, you can produce pages that feature boxes with more engaging content and links.

Of course, as easy as this all sounds, it’s not as easily do-able or maintainable unless you have a dedicated SEO consultant or web team working for you.
